A third-generation Angeleno with a deep understanding of the many diverse and unique communities and beach cities throughout Southern California, Monique Stevens serves as Listing & Design Lead and Buyers Agent for The Sarma Group. Known for her sharp eye for design and natural PR instinct, Monique plays a pivotal role in positioning homes to stand out in today’s competitive market while helping buyers envision the full potential of a space.

Before transitioning into real estate, Monique built an accomplished career as a public affairs and communications executive, working with some of Los Angeles’ largest corporations and serving as a lobbyist. Her background honed her expertise in strategic messaging, relationship management, and high-level negotiation—skills she now leverages to advocate for clients and elevate every listing.

Monique has also been deeply involved in her community, serving in leadership roles and chairing galas and leading fundraising efforts that generated record-breaking contributions for both Flintridge Prep and Crestview Preparatory. Her ability to bring people together and execute at a high level translates seamlessly into her work with clients and team operations.

Coming from a family with a strong history of real estate investment, Monique brings a generational perspective on value, ownership, and long-term wealth building. She actively invests in real estate herself, splitting her time between California and Nashville, with a special connection to Franklin, Tennessee—giving her a unique, bi-coastal market perspective.

With a refined design sensibility and a practical approach, Monique helps clients transform houses into homes that reflect their lifestyle while staying aligned with budget and investment goals. Whether preparing a listing for market or advising buyers on how to personalize a new space, she blends creativity with strategy to deliver thoughtful, high-impact results. 

Monique loves interior design and home styling, antiquing, gardening and architecture, and brings these passions to her work with clients.  She is a graduate of the University of Southern California where she studied public policy.
